Popsie's Pantry Fills A Crucial Need

Many people believe that the problems associated with hunger are confined to small pockets of society or certain neighborhoods, but the reality tells a very different story. Right now, untold numbers of people, right here in our community, are struggling to feed their families. They may have recently lost a job or may be disabled and unable to work. They are often hard-working adults with families or seniors who simply cannot make ends meet.

And that's why we're here. Popsie's Pantry is offering dry and canned goods, along with household items and toiletries, to those who qualify for food and assistance and/or require kosher food. With the assistance of committed community volunteers and the generous support of Livia & Steve Russell in honor of Anton "Popsie" Berkovitz, we are privileged to serve those who do not have the resources to feed themselves and their families.

Hours: M/W 9 a.m.--12 p.m.

Please call the ASRSCRC at 259.6822 for appointments outside of normal business hours. If you'd like to make donations of food or household goods, or monetary donations, contact Lori Moss or drop them by the Reuben Resource Center.
